NEWS AND EVENTS

On Saturday, December 20th near
Marshall, VA Northern Virginia Delta was able to organize a disabled
Veterans deer hunt. This event was a great success not only for
the Veterans themselves but for the more than forty folks that stopped
by at various times during the day to lend a hand cooking, help out
with the hunt, or just stop by and talk for a few minutes. We
want to thank PVA
(Paralyzed Veterans of America) for helping us get Veterans out there
that really appreciated spending some time out in the field. Thanks
also goes to the thirty or so Volunteers that took a weekend off from
hunting and helped out!
Take a few minutes to look
through the pictures below.
Thanks,

Here's our fearless
leader whipping up some chow!

There's the cook who did
the most work!

Thinking about doing some
work....

There's the spread
waiting for the Vets and volunteers to get in and grub. Many thanks go
out to the Marshall Volunteer Fire Department
for opening up their doors for us to host the Veterans.

There's a few of the
volunteers taking a break from the rain to get warm!

Talking about the hunt
with two of the Vets!

Another one of the Vets
with his tag filled!!

There's one of the guys
with his trophy from the hunt! Nice looking buck!
